SM Complete Medical Billing

Rachelle has been in the medical billing/coding field since early 2000. She began her first medical billing position in Kansas, after being handed a stack of HCFA 1500 claim forms along with a free standing typewriter and DOS computer system (remember those?) and told, “re-bill these MEDICAID claims as our outsourced billing company never really billed them!” She learned the quick and difficult way to medical billing, however she understands this particular challenge is what she enjoyed the most. One of her greatest joys was realizing how quickly this field changes depending on the payer or particular specialty that has graced your presence. At that moment she realized medical billing and coding was the perfect career that would hold her attention for a very long time!
Beginning in 2003, she moved to Arizona with her young family and began working for a general practice physician handling all their billing/coding needs as well as maintaining their computer systems. In 2006 she received her CPC through the AAPC and after a few short years she was promoted to office manager position, until early 2010 when she had her third child and decided to start her own at home billing and coding service.
After a few shorts months she signed her first contract with an orthopedic surgeon out of Beverly Hills, Ca, where she thoroughly enjoys going above and beyond her contract obligations from the comforts of her own home.
